ReplyDeleteIf anyone would be able to meet on Fridays let me know. It would give us a chance to put more time toward our senior show and exhibition than we have during our Tuesday and Thursday meetings. I can do Fridays anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Please post what times and which Fridays would work best for you... majority will dictate which day and what time. Those unable to attend will be updated via our blog or email.
I'm open to various Fridays. I can't say specifically any that I'm fee for. First, I think it's important Brian can be at them if we have them as we're in the planning phase specifically. And I think we need to have the need to have them before randomly setting dates.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, if we have a need for one at any point I'll do my personal best to attend and see no foreseeable conflict.
I think what we're discussing here is meeting on Fridays once per week for two hours instead of twice a week for 50 minutes. If the seminar can't do that, we'll need to stick to the twice a week shorter sessions. I just think we would get more accomplished if we had a longer meeting time.

ReplyDeleteI can do most Friday's anytime after lunch. I teach all the web publishing classes to faculty and staff on campus, so there may possibly be a few Fridays that I can't make it.
ReplyDeleteBrian, I talked to Zhalda in painting class today. She did mean as EXTRA days if we need them and not to replace our weekday class time. She's been having a bit of a time getting on so I told her I would post this tonight.
ReplyDeleteI work every Friday. There is a possibility that my Friday evenings will open up, but probably much later than anyone would want to meet. Around 7 or 8.
ReplyDeleteWe will eventually be having additional sessions just to get the space prepared (can't do that in 50 minute efforts), but planning, delegating, running errands, etc will require some extra get-togethers. So if there are Fridays when a bunch want to gather, just make sure you broadcast the date and time to everyone so those who can show up will make the effort.
ReplyDeleteWe should take a close look at the calendar next week to make sure we're heading in a productive direction. Also, don't forget to cast a suggestion for show titles by 5:00 today.
